Emergency Medical Services
The village provides Advanced Life Support (ALS) service with a fully equipped ambulance and ALS equipped fire engine. The ALS engine has all the same medical equipment that an ambulance carries and can begin treatment of a patient until a ambulance arrives on the scene.
Our fire department has agreements with our neighboring fire departments when we have multiple requests for the ambulance. If we are committed on a call, an ambulance is dispatched from another fire department. Responding ambulances are Advance Life Support staffed with Paramedics!
